Supporting students interested in the fields of math and physical science.
Applicants must:
- Be a graduating senior from a public or private high school within Winnebago County; and
- Demonstrate that their post-secondary or college curriculum is dominated by classes related to mathematics or physical science, but applicants are not required to major strictly in either of those fields.
Specifications:
Academic performance will be given highest priority consideration in the selection process.
For the purpose of this scholarship, physical sciences are defined as fields that study non-living systems such as physics, chemistry, earth science, geology, astronomy, and materials science.
The scholarship is renewable for up to four years as long as criteria are met.
