Supporting African American students who plan to pursue a career in social work or human services.
Applicant must:
- Must be African American;
- Be a graduating senior or graduate of a Rockford Public Schools District #205;
- Plan to pursue a career in social work or human services; and
- Have a history of community service.
Specifications:
Academic performance will be given moderate consideration in the selection process.
For the purposes of this scholarship, fields related to social work or human services include case management, counseling, or community outreach and advocacy.
