Our organization seeks to encourage young scholars to continue their education by offering financial assistance in their first year of college. We are seeking young minority male scholars who display academic excellence, leadership quality, and community involvement. Scholars who aim to make a difference and give back to those who seek help.
Criteria:
- Minority male
- High school graduating senior seeking to obtain a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, university, or skill trades institute
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Active in both school and/or community
- Official copy of current high school transcripts (these may have to be mailed from the school)
- Color photo headshot (minimum 3”x5”).
- Two letters of recommendation: One school official and one from a community leader
